Each month the Library displays the work of a local artist.
This helps both the library and the artist as the artist generously donates a portion of his/her sales to the library.

Come in for help with downloading books from Listen Up, Vermont! or Recorded Books

Our Book Sale Room is open whenever the library is open. There are many video tapes, collectible books, almost new children’s books, adult fiction and nonfiction and audio books on cassettes. We would appreciate donations of relatively new books (not more than 10 years old).

Children will be delighted to discover stimulating hands-on materials to help them explore the world of books. A wide variety of materials are available for the children of Dorset to borrow. Beginning with board books for the very youngest to reference materials for high school students, the Library offers up-to-date materials for all ages.

The Children's Rooms at the Dorset Library are a great place to spend an afternoon. There are games to play, puppets to perform with, a relaxing place to browse and read or even listen to a book on tape. More Information >
