DVDS
Audio Books – Current Fiction
& Non-fiction may be borrowed for a two week period. The Library
purchases unabridged editions of audio books whenever possible.
Damaged or lost tapes and CDs must be replaced.
Listen
Up Vermont! enables Dorset residents to download audio
books to their computers and then onto a portable audio device.
Come into the library to get your access number. The site gives
step-by-step directions for downloading. Click on: http://www.listenupvermont.org.

Recorded Books - One Click!
The Dorset
Library has joined Recorded Books' One Click
which offers over 2,000 audio books. To access this great resource,
go to, http://gmlc.wordpress.com/recorded-books/.
These books are always available and there is no waiting for any
of them. Use the same access number as you do for Listen Up! If
you have not been given an access number, come into the library
for this information.
DVDs
– The Dorset Library owns over 800 DVDs with all
rating categories NR, G, PG, Pg-13 and R. R ratings are indicated
by a red marker on each DVD case. These may be borrowed for 1
week. A $2.00 per night fine is charged for overdue DVDs, including
holidays and weekends.
Music
CDs – The Music CD collection of over 300 CDs have
all been donated to the library. These may be borrowed for three
weeks. The Dorset Library would appreciate donations of music
CDs.
